Heat Transfer

Moving heat more efficiently through the most comprehensive range of plate heat exchanger technologies in the market!

The creativity, cutting-edge technology and dedication of SWEP's people, representing decades of experience, have resulted in the world's most comprehensive range of plate-type heat exchangers. These include highly efficient, compact brazed exchangers (CBEs) and compact gasketed plate heat exchangers (PHEs).
Kenics® Static Mixer technology, available exclusively in Kenics® Heat Exchangers, offers the highest available coefficients for fast, uniform heat transfer. Capable of reliable operation in a wide range of process applications, including those in the polymer, plastic, and food and beverage industries, Kenics Heat Exchangers require less space, less energy and less residence time than standard designs.
Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers

AMETEK Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers made with fluoropoloymers are available in a wide variety of capacities and sizes to meet virtually any type of process heating or cooling requirement. With over 30 years experience, AMETEK is the world's largest producer of non-corroding heat exchangers, custom-designing solutions to customers' corrosive or high purity process problems. AMETEK Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers are available with tubing diameters ranging from 0.125 inches to 0.375 inches. Most units can be supplied with shells made of steel, steel-lined with PTFE, FRP, CPVC, polypropylene, or a variety of metals to meet specific application requirements. TEMA/ANSI end and nozzle connections are standard, with metric designs available.

Supercoil

AMETEK Supercoil Heat Exchangers are high efficiency immersion coils designed for heating and cooling a wide range of metal finishing solutions. Applications include: electroplating, electroforming and electroless plating baths; acidic and alkaline solutuions for etching, chemical milling, anodizing, cleaning stripping, electropolishing and other similar operations. The well-known non-stick characteristics of fluoropolymer resins resist corrosion and fouling, and its high electrical resistance minimizes the effects of stray currents in electroplating tanks.
