Leading the way in heat transfer technology, the Superchanger plate and frame units are far more efficient than other heat exchangers in most applications. Their corrugated plate design yields very high transfer coefficients. Requiring little space, they provide great flexibility and are easily cleaned, experience little or no fouling and have no inter-leakage. These units are custom designed for each specific application.

Offering our customers an efficient and versatile prime surface type heat exchanger, Tranter manufacturers Platecoil. Its unique design remains the key to both its high heat transfer efficiency and versatility for heating and cooling applications.

Several years ago our customers relayed their need for an all-welded plate heat exchanger, hence the Maxchanger. These units are efficient in applications where versatility of connection locations, space and single-material design are prime considerations. A distinctive inter-space geometry produces the uncommon combination of extremely high U values and low pressure drops.

The Supermax offers a way to meet your heat exchanger needs with a compact design that takes up substation ally less space and weight than that of a standard tube or shell heat exchanger. A smaller compact size also means no need for high volumes of expensive fluids.

Tranter also has their Minex plate heat exchangers, which are the world’s smallest gasketed heat exchangers, and the SWEP compact brazed heat exchangers, which achieve high performance. These two heat exchangers are part of Tranter’s CBE Business Unit known as SWEP, Inc. which is located in Duluth, Georgia.
