As world leaders within this field, SWEP continues to push
the frontiers of heat transfer technology forward in order to consistently offer
its customers superior performance, economy and service.
SWEP is a steadily growing, global company in the Tranter
Group, a subsidiary of Dover
Corporation, and is represented in more than 50 countries on six continents.
CBE -
Compact Brazed Heat Exchanger
SWEP's compact brazed
heat exchangers (CBEs) were developed in the late 70s by the team of
engineers that later went on to found SWEP. Today SWEP is the world leader
in CBE technology, with a comprehensive range that offer optimized
performance precisely matched to capacity and application requirements.
WHE - Semi-Welded
compact plate heat exchanger
SWEP represents outstanding heat
exchange technology, built on compact brazed heat exchangers (CBEs) and
gasketed plate heat exchangers (PHEs). SWEP is now pleased to offer a
semi-welded plate heat exchanger especially designed for use with
refrigerant media such as ammonia or industrial corrosive fluids.
The GW80 features laser-welded plate pairs to ensure safe, reliable
operation. A plate pattern optimized for refrigerant applications to
give high thermal efficiency even with asymmetrical flows. A new
porthole design for optimal distribution. And a minimized refrigerant
charge for improved economy and safety.
The GW8O may be used as an evaporator, condenser, desuperheater and
subcooler, in direct-expansion systems or in circulation systems. In
fact, SWEP's GW8O opens up whole new opportunities for using
ammonia-based systems. |
